@memo suggestion: remove the Dashboard link (left to "New") and place all the buttons (for profile image etc.) under "Profile", in top right corner. "Profile" and "Dashboard" are confusing and almost do/are the same.
Go to: Dashboard -> Set Profile Picture

thanks, yes this is notification about the difficulty adjustment. But it does not explain anything about the economical logic of the difficulty adjustment. Hence my shared link.
Each node that stores the blockchain can decide when to prune old data, but there will be 'archival' nodes, that store all the data, all the time.
;) The Blockchain database is the new Web-Archive. Do not use the Web if you do not want to be digitally remembered.
That is very old, and not relevant anymore. BCH changed the Difficulty Adjustmend Algorithm in November last year. The new DAA adjusts on each new block, averaging over last 144.
