Correct, I've been in crypto for a while (never touched my BCH from the fork btw) but most of my experience is in ETH, I'm really impressed by BCH for a number of reasons...
If one reads the Bitcoin defining white paper, and is honest with one’s self, it is clear that it is describing BCH, not BTC. https://bitcoin.com/bitcoin.pdf
A govt that wants to do bad things to its citizens will do them by controlling the flow of information in order to make the bad things look like good things. (Just like /r/Bitcoin)
Even if Lightning Network was the better technology (it's not, but let's just pretend it is for a moment), I would never support the side that use mass censorship, no matter how good the technology.
Block times on BCH block chain have been a little ridiculous the past 2 hours. 2 Blocks in 2 hours... bummer
Yeah, what's going on with that? It helps with the stress test and fills up mempool more, but I doubt miners are doing it on purpose. If it was on purpose they would mine empty blocks.
I imported the wallet into Electron Cash like you suggested. Worked great - I can see all the sats I put on scale.cash but don't think they've been used.
awesome. so no if you see them they can be spent. copy scale.cash address and send. dont refresh lol. good to go.
Dude. Are you serious?! So $10 worth of donations to scale.cash then? Is that what you're tellin me?
Why in God's name would they not put that warning on the page?!
i think it is. you need to write the seed into a wallet like electron cash, then you can see your money.
We need memo + IPFS as soon as possible. And follow the example of @Tom and publish as many books/article on the BCH blockchain to make them practically unburnable
Memo will be adding support for long-form content hopefully in the near future :)
5. Were it up to miners and me, all of my transactions would be on-chain. This is why Bitcoin had to fork into Bitcoin Cash, so that the validators of my transactions are the ones with the correct economic incentives.
The peer-to-peer electronic cash system invented by Satoshi Nakamoto lives on as BCH.
BTC is an experimental currency that does not have a white paper and has only operated under its current model for two years.
Do u just like reading your own Memos @Roger Ver, or are u going 2 actually engage with Memo profiles who have asked questions by replying to your currently top ranked Memo video post?
You know what would be an awesome feature? Chained transactions for longer messages + having an optional tick box on Yours.org to post longer-form writing to the blockchain, for however many tx fees it costs.
