To elaborate: Demographics are shifting in most developed countries to an inverted age pyramid. A major driver of social media adoption is youth culture.
I don't know where things are going to go but even Tik Tok will begin to lose it's grip on people with time. Suppose that's why Elon wants x/twitter to be more like Wechat. Seems to have a better balance between being a utility vs entertainment platform.
Powping had an interesting community but was never going to be big imo. BSV has other problems but I think the failure of social media on the blockchain is one of timing. The contemporary model of social media is changing/dying.
