Found the issue, I was using the SV memo site, if I use the memo.cash URL my muting works. Guess the extension does not work with the sv site.
lol, afaik there never was a mute function on memo itself. you had to use memo++ but idk if it's been updated.

Yes they are scared. The SV hash is not visible, shadow mining empty blocks to re-org ABC so they need to have a very high (above equilibrium) hash rate to prevent a deep reorg.

Miners value things in multiple timescales and they are clearly signalling their valuation by not going back to BTC despite being 500,000 exahashes ahead.
If this was the case then where were they before the fork? ABC coin is worth half as much as BCH was pre-fork. This makes no sense financially and not a coincidence to spike after sv
