Looks like a good spec! There is a MIP for delegated keys in the works that could potentially use this. https://github.com/memocash/mips/blob/master/mip-0003/mip-0003.md
Just to be make sure I understand this correctly:
any memo-implementation creates child keys, puts a request on-chain that if signed by the users master key, links it to user identity
Could this be a solution to ddos attacks? Requiring a Satoshi to login would make ddos attacks pretty expensive.
Sadly, no. You can still initiate a request to login, and not complete it, to consume server resources. Repeat as fast as needed to consume all resources on the server.

What additions/extension to CashID is needed for it to be used in this way? Is the "sign" action (a=sign&d=data) sufficient?
I'm thinking that custom memosign actoin is better UX.

Thank you, I read that MIP and it's a perfect example of how a reputation protocol complementing an authentication protocol should work.
I've released the #CashID specification (https://www.yours.org/content/introducing-cashid--an-open-protocol-for-authentication-with-optional-e3df11d498e6). Would love to see it on memo.
You're welcome. If you need any more help, you know where to find me. If there's any ambiguity with the spec of anything that's hard to understand - let me know.
... or you can treat him as curious, in which case he has a lot to lose over acting maliciously. He may also be valuable and helpful if he is indeed curious. Lets be nicer, shall we?
He said he was just curious. He could be malicious, or he could just be curious... So you can treat him as malicious, in which case he has nothing to lose by living up to his reputation, or..
I can't imagine Max being able to defend introduction of BTC to venezuela at a 100% adoption rate today. He'll try, but 100% means every single person every day. There's not enough capacity.
For those wondering *why* todays move looks like it does - I can see two reasons. First, Bitmain IPO actually happened, with positive result. Second, the core bug was absued on testnet.
Damn. I could really see myself taking a few months and getting lost in this...
I recommend starting on a computer that's not important for day-to-day use, a virtual machine, dual-boot or easily changed harddrives. The first week is rough, then it gets easier.
Could we adjust PROFILES->NEW to allow tipping new sign-ons ->lacking names<- ? This would help onboard new accounts to quiickly tip them enough BCH to set name and begin posting...
