There needs to be a sat/byte market for archiving OP_RETURN metadata that is distinct (separate market) from the lean, efficient UTXO for BCH payments as money
All of memo.cash for example can be pruned off and that blockchain data useage recycled back into the ecosystem for better ideas (if memo.cash failed one day)

OP_RETURN pushdata is prunable from UTXO. persistance of this metadata is voluntary and requires an archival mining node market. 'GROUP' will bload UTXO holding

Why not just open a standard p2p encrypted communication channel between two people who follow each other? You just have a separate p2p app with a pub username linked to memo account

Just need some kind of really efficient / automated escrow service / smart contract with adjustable bid / ask prices to match people for exchange. Should be doable.
If exchange websites could be based on the BCH blockchain, that would be cool and would massively pump up the volume / useage. Also making BCH reserve crypto for exchange
I'd quite like it if we had a gradual increase in block size with wider useage. We just need to keep making it easier to utilise the blockchain for lots of different things
