@Maladey, there is an option to disable images and videos in the settings.
I meant a mute feature in the memo client, not the protocol. And so far the good guys are heavily outweighing the bad guys.
@Maladey That's easy to ignore and move past though. And memo is still young, a mute feature will surely get there.
Hopefully the future will view the message above from a purely historical perspective.

@boudi Simpler would be not to use blockchain..., use twitter.
@boudi That would destroy the openness of memo, other services would be missing messages. Also, those messages might be decrypted with future tech.
