The laws aren't perfect, I'll agree with you there. Though without the protection of patent law, they probably would have no contract in the first place. Complex subject for sure.

I didn't, I was in cash at the time of the fork on bitfinex. Off exchange coins will be chilling out for while.

Fear of people selling ABC for SV if it overtakes ABC in accumulated PoW(currently ABC is 38% ahead). If you don't know how the system works you probably shouldn't be trading it.
