Disagree. There is very little investment that doesn't rely on capitalizing on opportunity. The right place was being alive, the right place was anywhere in the world
if you say that's luck, then anyone who makes money buying property at least is in a similar basket - worse, because they are risking capital with leverage
really? or did they just use their superior awareness of the world around them to jump on an opportunity early.. no different to buying a share or starting a business
In something very much like reddit, you will have all the same problems - worse even because it will always be there. And if it can be censored in the client, do they then have an obligation to do so?
How about allowing users to join as ghosts & make posts in test area, off blockchain. You could have a board for them that gets wiped every 30 days & they could receive tips
if you are check revokable as an option when posting, you make deliberately commit to the service you are on and no other. You could also have categories of topic that allow/disallow revoking
@joannes I don't think it would destroy it - it just gives people the right to control their data. Better they get decrypted in the future than something embarrassing be open now and for all time
Permanence of posting needs to be made clear to new users. A way to post content revokably is needed. e.g encrypt with memo transparently holding a key. To delete you instruct memo to delete that key
