The checkpoint is ok for me since we used that before and we all agree the chain is "the right one" up to that point. The reorg depth was not discussed or analyzed.

Weird, my BU node says there's a block 0000000000000000004626ff6e3b936941d341c5932ece4357eeccac44e6d56c that's invalid. I think it's an SV block at 556767.
BU 1.5.0.0 says 000000000000000000a8539b8c94820a6926177430e3aa57b4a80ca9f84dee16 is the best height at 556768 at this moment.
