It's more accurate to say semi-anonymous. Cash shuffle doesn't provide anonymity so much as it provides deniability. Whomever spends shuffled coins may or may not be the your target.
I have a specification for that but have been far too busy to implement it.

So the FIAT didn't go into escrow. It went straight to the seller who then releases the BCH from escrow. If the seller does not release it then you can initiate a dispute.
In the case of a dispute, does the arbitrator simply release the BCH to the buyer if the seller does not?
The seller puts the BCH into escrow until they receive the funds from you. Then the BCH is released into your wallet.
If the BCH is escrowed on the blockchain, where is the fiat escrowed?
It was really good. You basically just chat with the seller via an encrypted chat window and exchange payment info. Best of all, no KYC!
How is that any different than approaching a random person on the internet? Without escrow, what will protect both the buyer and seller?

So when BCH has terabyte blocks and nobody can validate the chain anymore. Why use a blockchain and not a regular database, or why not switch to EOS like DPoS as PoW is meaningless in this "trust the miners" scenario.

I’d prefer the old PGP key sign trust. You vouch for someone because you personally know or met to verify. Someone you trust vouching for another means you can likely trust too.

Well, a miner could include that. It’s just considered a non-standard TX and not relayed by the nodes.
