@DSC I think with any situation you have to see it from a balanced viewpoint and seek why they do what they do. It's not idiotic, there's very good reasons.
@DSC definitly great fire wall should exist, otherwise the west would come take major advantage and penetrate the media with BS. Which is what happened with Russia and America.
China has major flaws because it's a larger animal than other places. Population size, biodiversity, natural resources etc. However, I can't imagine how it would run under any other systems.
Frankly living on a desolate planet with harsh climates and under a man who can't keep his house together isn't really what I would willingly follow.
@DSC Ok, I have talked about this in another thread. The Firewall is bypassed everyday by 20% of its people. People who can figure it out are rewarded with freedom, as any place.
Of course, maybe we can have a AI gov in the future, to make much better decisions on resources right. We can be more logical, methodical, and efficient over all with earthly necessities.
Gov actually pours huge amount of capital in Blockchain research and innovative tech for poverty alleviation. This is something i come in contact with daily, so I know for sure. It's Impressive.
I live in China where the Gov is centralized. It's actually quite amazing. My views shifted on gov. They are much more efficient. Tech is used better in China than anywhere else.

We can't think gov is all bad either, there are necessary as well. Like a body needs a head, because look at how many people detest making day to day decisions.
Blockchain is system that aids to central government more than ever by the way. Does no one see this?
Generally no one is stopping anyone to develop an underdeveloped area the way they see fit. Has anyone read anything by Jacques Fresco??
Every smart person lives out of the city actually. Only slaves live in the city thinking it's better.
I live in a very expensive city. Which is silly because through my travels, same amount of fiat can buy much better quality somewhere else. Cities are not all glitz and glam.
Everyone has the right to ask what they think they deserve. Corporations pay family people much more because they just simply have the need.. so it's actually good to keep people single. Cheaper
People aren't stupid, I think it's just ignorance of the truth. Of course we all have opportunities to go and seek the truth, or try to, which honestly takes a lot of courage.
Happiness is a decision. Or genetics. Actually I would say it's genetics and will.
Also the fact we are giving consciousness to Trump in this thread gives him more power, we are giving him our precious mental energy, could be allocated for something else.
I really think we have to get out of the habit of blaming someone else for our problems. This won't take you anywhere. The problem is not the president or America, you are building it too
People think the President is a benevolent despot determining our fortunes when in reality he is just sitting in the co-pilot seat of a plane that’s already on auto-pilot.
I want to point out that the world is a huge place, if you don't like Trump or any of the things going on in your immediate sphere, just move and live somewhere else.
